Come to Brendal's Dive Center to experience the sea and the coral reefs surrounding the beautiful island of Abaco in the Bahamas. Brendal's Dive Center is located on historic Green Turtle Cay, a short ferry ride from the Treasure Cay airport.

 
Come experience with us the beautiful shallow coral gardens with elk and stag horn corals and abundant marine life. 

Hand feed Brendal's pet groupers "Calypso" and "Junkanoo". Meet "Goombay" the green moray or hand feed some friendly rays.

Explore coral catacombs and sparkling sand channels or dive a fascinating wreck. We offer one or two dives per day from 10 to 100 feet. Green Turtle Cay is surrounded by numerous uninhabited islands with sparkling beaches.

 

Brendal's Dive Center is internationally accredited and a full service dive center with a retail shop. 

Our boats are custom designed for comfort and ease.

For the non-diver, we offer glass bottom boat excursions and for the snorkeler, our many reefs start at 5 feet and are a delight to explore!
 

Certification, advanced courses and adventure specialty trips are available.

Enjoy one or two dives a day, and go snorkeling, sailing, glass bottom boating or cruise on a sailboat that can be captained. Take the Wild Dolphin Encounter & Snorkel Reef Trip. Rent bicycles or your own kayak.
 

You can even treat yourself to an all day dive, snorkel or sailing trip with a picnic on one of our beautiful deserted beaches, perfect for a fresh seafood beach picnic.

If you can't swim, snorkel or scuba dive, we will teach you and help you to advance at your own pace under our personal supervision. Small groups and personal attention is our speciality!

While the Abacos offer the third largest barrier reef in the world, the reefs start at 5' and extend to 60' creating many "mini walls" for exploration and wonderful marine encounters. There exists fantastic coral formations of hard and soft corals from Elkhorn. Staghorn and Pillar corals to interlocking catacombs of coral heads and caverns.

The Abacos itself, lie north to southwest in the Bahamas ranging 130 miles long with Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, located east of the main island of Abaco amidst the Atlantic Ocean on the east side, providing an excellent scuba diving experience. To the wonderful cruising waters to the west, just made for sailing and boat cruising with many beautiful beaches.

The diving season is year round with average visibility of 100 feet (30m).

Water Temperatures ~ 89F in Summer to 76F in the Winter

Air Temperatures ~ 90F in Summer to 75F in the Winter.


The marine life is a never ending array of tropical/schooling fish, as well as Dolphins, Rays and Turtles. For the ardent as well as the beginner diver to explore .
